'The world will know'

Why don't you speak my dear?

Do not tell me I am left alone

I need you near, my darling

My heart is not made of stone

Our daughter needs her dad

She has no place under these bombs

I am speechless with bloody hands

O' angels sing for my land, the Psalms

My tears have washed my hands

My  little house is on fire

And I am a lonely pregnant woman

My land is bewailing with choir

Where should I go with no coins?

But with a girl and a baby to be born

My feet are weak, and my man sleeps there

Should I run or should I mourn?

My land and my home are dancing in fire

And my daughter is crying with a tender sound

Should I embrace her, escape from my land

And leave my husband's body on the ground?

The world will know me as a refugee

Will people shelter my little daughter?

Will they care for a lonely woman?

And will they give us some drinking water?

If you do not believe in my homelessness

I will return back to my land

But please trust the innocent eyes of my girl

She is asking for your caring hand
