'' How Could We Let Them Perish ''
It's gone, no more,
There's no Earths core,
You can see from pole to pole,
We can't replace what's went before,
We've left a massive hole.
Not done for need,
But all for greed,
Diamonds coal and oil,
My God we've made our planet bleed,
Polluted her very soil.
Gold from Rock
Iron ore we stock,
We refused to make a reduction,
Now there's none it's not a shock,
Guilty of over production.
The water's gone,
We're overdrawn,
Everything alive is dying,
Yes, my friends all done with brawn,
The truth we're still denying.
No food to eat,
Vegetables or meat,
The soil eats the seeds we sow,
No animals left all killed by heat,
There is no life to grow.
There's nothing left,
We're all bereft,
We're dying because of pollution,
Now we stand accused of theft,
From which there's no solution.
We lived for now,
The great cash cow,
Our children whom we claim to cherish,
Will be left to die and how,
