SEE ME, FEEL ME

Gotta get out of this mess,
Must awaken from distress,
Need light to awaken from the night,
And rid the fury that clouds my sight.

Gathered strength I shall manifest,
To battle this pain resting in its nest,
Beams aimed at my soul, left plentiful scars,
Must seek shelter, and lock them behind bars.

Heal me from this darkened curse,
Feel my heart's beat, it's ready to burst,
Struggled space is exhausting my course,
So battle I must, by unfolding all my force.

Should my sword lose grip from its handle,
The sharpened blade I cannot handle,
Must keep my shield secured to my chest,
And put these nasty battles to a rest.
