You'll always be sixteen to me

Time has flown, the clock ran on,

The season's changed, the children gone,

But in my heart time did not flee,

You'll always be sixteen to me.

A hand to hold, a love to share,

An ear to listen, time to spare,

Look in my heart see what I see,

You'll always be sixteen to me.

A lovin' touch, a binding twine,

From gold to silver, black to white,

Look in my heart time ceased to be,

You'll always be sixteen to me.
