The Stronger Man

The Stronger Man
Five feet, 4 inches and one hundred pounds of nothing
Desperately in need of a steak sandwich or something
Arms like spaghetti noodles, legs like tooth picks
Side with this guy you deserve whatever you get
Captain Steve Rogers on his hungriest day
The slightest wind will blow him away
But God sees a strong man, mighty in battle
Breaking down strong holds, making walls rattle
Physically not intimidating in the least
But within stands a spiritual beast
Fierce as a lion, gentle as a dove
Draped in humility, mercy, and love
He doesn't fight battles the Hollywood way
But when the enemy arises, he kneels to pray
Instead of adrenaline it's sweat and tears
Casting out doubt, shame and fears
Relying on the power to just be still
Visualize and recognize God's holy will
Move at His command, submit to His plan
The victory belongs to the stronger man
The biggest muscles you will never see
The heart surrendered to the Lord completely
Marching by faith not by sight
One can put one thousand to flight
Read Mark chapter 27, focus on verse 3
The binder through Christ is you and me
The strong man is Satan but he has to go
It's time to reclaim the goods that he stole
So stand and be the stronger man. Bold in faith
The world belongs to him but it's ours to take
Death has been defeated, the grave is empty
Christ is on the throne empowering you and me
The Holy Spirit leads the charge; hear the command
God promised to hear from heaven and heal our land
We are His people, called by His name
The restoration of all nations is ours to claim
So who will be the stronger man and answer the call
Who will fight and pray allowing knees to fall
All across the world let the church of Christ stand
Join together in the decree “ I am the stronger man”
