The Lighthouse II
On board a ship on a dark
stormy night at sea
A light from a lighthouse
on a cliff if you see
It's relief to know you are
not alone out there
That someone on the land
is there with a care
The thought itself is enough to
give courage to any sailor
To fight another battle with
the might of the nature
Lighthouses have thus saved
numerous lives at night
Though they are just plain old
structures with a light
The thoughts of great prophets
are like lighthouses to us
Guiding our straying minds to
the serene sanity thus
stormy night at sea
A light from a lighthouse
on a cliff if you see
It's relief to know you are
not alone out there
That someone on the land
is there with a care
The thought itself is enough to
give courage to any sailor
To fight another battle with
the might of the nature
Lighthouses have thus saved
numerous lives at night
Though they are just plain old
structures with a light
The thoughts of great prophets
are like lighthouses to us
Guiding our straying minds to
the serene sanity thus
