Take Your Flag Down

Take Your Flag Down                        July 28th, 2016

We honor our flag, it's the flag of our land
Many Irish have died making their stand
It's the flag of our country, the flag that we love
There's only one flag, it flies high above
Others have tried to change our flag
You brought your flag to our country, that English rag
They tried to change our nation, they came with no respect
Killing Irish people, what else did we expect
Our flag will fly because we're free
No duplication, one flag for me
Take your foreign flag down, take it back home
We have our own flag "our self alone "
Go home to your country, we wan't to live free
Take your rag with you, back over the sea
Leave our land forever, leave us in peace
To live in our land with no troubles just peace
We honor our flag, it's the flag of our land
Many Irish have died making their stand
