While feeling down,
I took pen in hand,
As in tears I drown,
I could not understand.
The urge to write,
To put pen to paper,
Made me see the light,
It helped clear the vapour.
Those thoughts deep inside,
I have finally aired,
What I've tried to hide,
To tell it I've dared.
To write what you feel,
Can help ease your strain,
It can help you to heal,
Yes, alleviate your pain.
If you feel really brave,
There are those who care,
If it's comfort you crave,
Then why not share.
Sharing your concerns,
Is a bold move to make,
What the recipient learns,
Is you're not a fake.
Everyone suffers,
But by standing alone,
Our life hit's the buffers,
Rather than atone.
Problems can be surmounted,
You know what to do,
Stand up and be counted,
The solution,
