My little sweet potato

I didn't see her comin'

But I sure felt the blow

She smacked me on the kisser

An' knocked me to the floor

As to what might be the reason

I swear I didn't know

But one night in her lovin' arms

Had I got seeds to sow?

I worship every inch of her

My soul's in paradise

I've kissed the living daylights

Outta everything she has

She likes to let me nibble

Let me stroke an' let me rub

My little sweet potato

My little lovey-dove

I come home every evening

What a welcome for a man

She likes to kiss and cuddle

From the front door to the pan

My after dinner passion

By now I guess you've guessed

Is a little sweet potato

An' a long night without rest
