Premonition

Premonition sets a stone
on the shoulder
Apprehension turns that
into a boulder

Gradually the hands and
feet grow colder
Suddenly one starts feeling
ten years older

Then slowly the defenses
start setting in
There is a sudden flow
of adrenaline

To hell with the older colder
and boulder
With full force one shrugs
the shoulder

And decides never to let
premonition to rule
And starts laughing for
being such a fool
