Write something of your own

To plagiarists and copyists a note to say beware

If you didn't write the stuff you like - stealing isn't fair

But another thing more poignant should you be called upon to do

Is write another like it - now you're really in the stew

You haven't got the skill required you don't know where to start

The claims you made amounts to zilch exposure's on the cards

Your writing isn't up to much your friends race for the door

You clearly stole another's work and passed it off as yours

Think hard while still admiring the work of distant pen

Be satisfied to read her words and those of other men

Writing is a natural gift that comes from heart and soul

Redeem yourself while you still can - write something of your own
