An Unopened Book

A Broken Superman

I once believed I was unstoppable,
Believed my strength; unbreakable.
This body proved to be fragile as glass.
High one moment, then laying broken on grass.
My mind senses the pain, Eyes see I'm broken.
I am not the superman I once was.
Not a hero that I once heard spoken.
My mind may say I can still do what I want.
But my body speaks louder, you cannot.
Still I will try as hard as I possibly can.
I will be healed, and will then be a broken superman.
