Magic Charm

You are my magic charm,

To look at you is alchemy-

Your eyes as clear as crystal

Speak to me of innocence

And your face is so angelic,

Every part is sharing beauty,

Every pore is breathing light.

Your lips soft honeyed guardians

Of poetry’s deepest mystery,

Words transformed to prayer

As they leave your mouth

To find my ears receptive

To find my soul waiting

To be one with all that you are.
