Meditation Rehash

Meditating on the benefits of welling up old wounds and pains,
Rehashing on the stove pot medium flame with salts n spices
Sizzling, smoke steaming, paring down, dis-assemblage
Becoming quite tasty yet still difficult to swallow
Same ol' reaction every time of panic and fear post-consumption
Yet always hungering for that very void to erase itself
Then something picks, picks, picks…
At the scab, the wound…
Over n o'er again
In church, therapy, definitely in meditation
Wreaking havoc internally while digesting crockpot-like curries…
Intricate yet profound
Those still broken places in my heart
Are sore with permanent damage to its pulsating muscle
Where's the Blessings in that?
Where at?
These lingering thoughts just don't compute
They just don't…
They just don't…
They simply do not…
But it's to be continued…
