*In dedication, from a mother, to her beloved daughter! All alone Even With everyone At home.. And yet They still did not notice.. You All alone Except For a hidden Empty cradle Cradled within A broken heart Sack cloth and ashes And blackened stone.. In some ways I feel such pity For people like you How could you know What to do? To know such things You have to know the person Or at least stop Only pretending too Know That beloved girl Down your stairs Feeling like a stranger In a "lets not talk about anything" Strange land So all by herself.. Strong yet tormented Alone and scared Needing a reassuring hand But the only hand You played in this "Momentous plan" Was not returning her Better off Then when she came.. Now left holding onto Some seriously Real life Pain.. And anyone That really knows Her Would know That from now till the end.. She'll never, ever again Be the same. Sent down to her knees On the cruel ground That held her mothers tears So long ago.. Now her daughter By herself Tries to sob away The very same pain That held them Both prisoner (And) Wouldn't let them go (But) We learn to forgive Thanking our God For a Daughter's love That heals a Mother's pain.. As Mommy reaches out Hoping for her daughter That she may one day For her own girl Do the same.. copyright2016surrealdancingpoetry Vote for this poem
