Papa The Sage

His tales would entrance your mind.
Listening to his life unfold in time.
Adventures lived in a different age.
A advisor, a philosopher, a sage.
Greatness shown, a man so kind.
Lost to us, it is the curse of time.

Battles fought, this our soldier of wars.
Pain he experienced in his mind he stores.
Places he has been this world wide.
Til his death he remained on God's side.
Laughter given to all who would hear.
But not afraid to shed sadness in tear.

Now this great man over his family he sees.
His continuous love still puts us at ease.
His advice still rings aloud still hear his voice.
Helps us know what to choose, what ever the choice.
Example of goodness, love, how to be kind.
Lost to us, it is the curse of time.
