"HER"
The rain is falling faster now,
As the sun fades from my view.
Just like a late night movie,
I sit and think of you.
It's funny how the years have passed,
All the women I have seen.
But when it rains on Monday night,
each raindrop seems to scream.
The sound they make just takes me back,
to a Love, I never lost.
To a girl who meant to much to me,
I'd Love at any cost.
To be in Love is wonderful,
Or so that's what I'm told.
But when your Love is not returned,
Your heart starts growing cold.
You start to lose the beauty,
In all life's simple things.
It's hard to Love a rainbow,
when it brings back so much pain.
So when you see me all alone,
Just staring out in space.
Counting all the raindrops,
Imagining her face.
It's just another Monday,
A cold and rainy night.
I'll never lose the sorrow,
Or Love she gave my life...
