"Revolution"

It’s 2:00am
The rain just keeps,
Falling.

My cat is out on the porch,
Smoking a Cigarette.
I know what she’s thinking,
"KITTY REVOLUTION"

She doesn’t see me watching her,
She’s deep in thought,
While taking a lingering drag,
Off her cigarette.

Quietly planning the over throw,
Of Mankind.
Today the Mice,
Tomorrow the World.

She flicks the cigarette,
On to the floor.
Rubs out its cherry,
With her paw.
Let’s out a low sigh,
Then trots back inside,
To lay besides the Fire.
Mankind is Safe,
For Now...
