"Last Kiss"

I look over as she's lying there,
Her skin a golden brown.
Her chest is slowly rising,
still she doesn't make a sound.

I slide my hand along her back,
She feels so soft and warm.
I gently pull her closer,
as she melts into my arms.

I want to say I LOVE her,
Instead I only stare.
Gazing at her beauty,
I gently stroke her hair.

I know she doesn't Love me,
I doubt she ever did.
I thought we'd last forever,
just another losing bid.

I left a note beside her,
tonight would be our last.
I Kissed her softly on the lips,
As she slipped into my past...
