How times they do fly as years go by
When we were only girls and only boys..
Back when dreams came true it seems
And when we played with younger toys..
When we were heroes kings and queens
And knights that rode on horses white..
When stars we gazed at we thought new
Sitting looking at them so deep at night..
When the stories read at night in bed
All thrilled us endlessly may of a time..
Of Elves and little folk under mushrooms
And fairies that at night danced so fine..
When life was all magic dreams yet to be
And Santa Clause actually rode in a slay..
Such expectations of the tooth fairy too
He never failed us before the light of day..
But as we look back way down that track
We sadly feel it would be so wonderful true..
If only things could still be as they were then
In a world forgotten a time that we once knew..
