I've loved long ago the wildflowers that grow
Up on mountains where I was born back when..
High flying eagles that flew the gums that grew
Wild horses ran free in unreachable country then..
Freshest ever air beyond all in compare up there
Winter snow spring summer autumn all so lovely too..
Endless wild creatures natural features all ever free
The rain sunshine sunsets sunrises full moons so new..
A single memory or a song played brings it all back
In a flash a splash a crash in a stash or a smile..
These beautiful memories remain deeply in my mind
And will remain forever so beautifully you'll find..
Where childhood candles burned there I had learned
I was a part of it all ever so long now ago it seems..
Nobody can take that away it's within me to stay
Back when I knew what it was like to live all my dreams..
