Poetic-Verses

'' I Was Paranoid ''

Do we have free will?
The right to choose,
Though most of us would say yes,
Is it all a drill,
With no win or lose,
As it's we who cause all the stress.

Our creator is where,
Does anyone know,
Or is he a man-made entity,
Is it really fair,
That he doesn't show,
Does he even have an identity.

Where is he,
When the innocents die,
Is that what he calls compassion,
It could be she,
Who does not comply,
Depending on what's in fashion.

We blindly follow,
An invisible being,
Who tells us how we should live,
His biblical tales are really hollow,
What exactly do these Gods give.

Faith is the key,
They'd have you believe,
But who exactly are ‘' THEY ‘'
If you're truly free,
Life's what you perceive,
Not what they try to display.

Where are these gods,
In times of trouble,
Their power must merit a mention,
Are they frauds,
Who burst our bubble,
When they decide there'll be no intervention.

Deep in conversation,
You call it prayer,
With beings who some cannot resist,
An imaginary creation,
With a money making flair,
With no proof they even exist.

Yet if found praying to a wall,
You would say I was sad,
Stating of intelligence, he's truly devoid,
Over yourselves you'd fall,
To proclaim I was mad,
You'd declare,

‘' I Was Paranoid ‘'
