My Old Boots

I'm almost sure that my old boots get jealous
They lean on each other always it's true..
And they know that they need each other so
Have done ever since when they both were new..

They both are never wrong but ones always right
And when stuck out on the porch they hug all night..
Both of them they have a soul to keep them dry
In the worst weather even when the sun is bright..

Each get upset when the dog it runs away with one
And each looks so lonely until the other one returns..
I really think they both get so jealous of the other
Always of a day or when at night the candle burns..
