Always there have been wars
The meek cry,
"Why can't we love one another!"
And another innocent dies
We turn to our leaders to be wise
Greed, we suffer from their lies
Once here in the Northwest a loving space
The immigration of hate turned even here to waste
Every day a new headline reads
The idiots in charge legalize smoking weeds
Bitter harvest of mind alternizing seeds
The latest mass murder is in Burlington
Another poem we came from the Wombs of the Same Mother
Its time my friends to love one another
And protect each other as families protect our brothers
Five killed a mass murderer on the run
One Grandson had a murder in his school
All lives matter that should be the tool
From violence breeds violence and hatred too
As the tear of the Angels from heaven fall
The headlines read, "A senseless shooting in the Mall!
Time to come together one and all!
