As a young guy having just not long found a job
Upon a larger farm a good ways out of town..
Determined to do all needed ever so very well
Later to find he had a daughter hanging round..
She made it ever so clear to me who she was
And that I was to do as she asked over time..
As she'd smile with a country smile all the while
My saying I'd do as asked all ways down the line..
Every time I was in the hay shed she'd appear
Demanding to give me a hand almost every time..
Seemed to me she had a thing for hay shed's
Saying so lovely here when the moon does shine..
Making it very clear she was the bosses daughter
Just to remind me that when she spoke I listen..
Telling me you be here tonight a full moon is bright
That I should keep her company to watch it glisten..
So I came as asked at night and she was at the top
A large blanket a little fruit and some country wine..
Not to mention a smile that had me a little concerned
Sitting hay shed high waiting for full moon to shine..
Taking off her shirt blaming the wine getting closer
Upon summers night ever so comfortable and warm..
Seems she had more wine in a bag not too far away
Saying that should last until the later coming dawn..
Well one thing lead to another slowly over time
As she knew so well just what to do and when..
The moon was beautiful and so was she by dawn
Being home before daylight her saying softly then..
Seems I had an extra duty to perform at times
One I didn't mind that much dare I admit to say..
But I had to change the subject whenever the boss
Had to say that I was looking a little tied today..
