Sunshine In Sight

Sunshine In Sight                    September 27, 2016

Irish eyes cry in this invaded nation

They came, they killed, plastic bullets, degradation

They took our land, they banished our culture

They took our rights like a human vulture

Far across the sea another nation unfree

Invaded like Ireland, tried to change you and me

Land taken by them with killings again

Ignoring the culture, killed women and men

Two nations unfree, our day will come

We want our land back, our struggles begun

Human rights taken without civil rights

Many dark days, there's sunshine in sight

The God's are with us, freedoms on the way

Ireland and first nation people will soon have their day

Irish eyes cry in this invaded nation

They came, they killed, plastic bullets, degradation
