 UnspokenDreams

Would You Stop?!

If you heard me screaming,
Would you stop to listen?
would you make some time for me,
Or would you keep a distance?

If you saw me weeping,
Would you stop to care?
To place a hand upon my shoulder,
To offer me a chair?

If you could could spare a moment,
To have a word with me,
I wonder if you'd spend it;
Or would you simply leave me be?

I wonder if you noticed,
Then I live in doubt,
The world is too fast and ignorant,
To hear me cry or scream or shout.

To stop and take an interest,
But it's something people just ignore,
you see them as they see you,
Then they divert their eyes back to the floor.

And carry on walking on their journey,
Whilst you sit back and admit,
That life is just too busy,
Nobody seems to be legit.

Every pair of eyes is looking,
But how many of them are seeing?
How many people would stop to help,
Their fellow human being?
