The Sailorman
Sheer cliffs
ahead
Heaving sea
beneath
The tough little
tug-boat
Bravely carried
on forth
The lone sailor
squinted
A pipe clenched
in his teeth
All he could
see ahead
Dark cliffs and
white froth
And as there was
no spinach left
He surely faced
his death
ahead
Heaving sea
beneath
The tough little
tug-boat
Bravely carried
on forth
The lone sailor
squinted
A pipe clenched
in his teeth
All he could
see ahead
Dark cliffs and
white froth
And as there was
no spinach left
He surely faced
his death
