Golden Fields

autumn scenes photo:  A209.jpg

"My heart drifts away in golden fields."
This statement caught my attention.
Immediately I thought of you.
We are in the season of Autumn.
Colorful leaves fall and wait to be raked.
I will miss our times together raking leaves,
enjoying the beauty of the season.
My heart drifts away in golden fields.
I long to hear your voice.
To feel your touch.
Each morning I open the blinds,
To welcome a new day.
At night I close the blinds.
Another day goes by without you.
I miss you so much.
This Autumn season belongs to us.
Rest in peace my dear beloved husband,
One day we will meet again.
You will stay in my heart,
Always and forever.

November 28, 2016 will be the 2nd year of the passing of my dear husband. It still seems like yesterday.

falling leaves
hide the path
so quietly
