A Familiar Home

There is a not so distant place
they say it gleams and glistens

They say there is this:
a bridge of deliverance
a foundation of pure love
a sanctuary of acceptance

A temple of hope and longing

Something to hold onto
a memory reconnected
an echo of familiarity

Where the flowers will not perish
or a sun that shall not set

Where the moon shares its seat
aside: The God Particle

Animals and humans will breathe again
upon its reunion of life

Stars that can almost be touched
and sounds of unearthly music
that ring truth to our ears

There too a fountain that runnith over
with wisdom and forgiveness

There will be Angels of mercy
and Pearl doors that break wide
where generations of loved ones live on
Within our Creators greatest grandeur
of forevermore... I long to be here

I know inside my core of being

We and I have roamed here once before
and we shall return to a sobering reality
at the window of our last breath
within the dreams and faiths of all human kind

This majestic place has been spoken of
from the mouths of all walks of life
for millennium's and in this moment

This place as we know it
shall be called:
