All is Well
All is Well
The tension is building, the bills are to
The sickness is beyond what the doctors can do
That child that just won't turn around
The weight of it all is holding you down
Look to the Shunammite woman in II Kings chapter 4
When you feel that you just can't handle anymore
Blessed with the son for which she prayed
Then just like that he was taken away
She did not panic and her faith did not fail
Her hearts declaration was,” all is well”
She laid him in the bed where the prophet stayed
The room where he slept, studied, and prayed
She prepared for the journey, no worry or fear
The prophet saw her coming before she could draw near
He sent his servant to ask if all was well
By her reaction he could not tell
She took her problem to the Lord in prayer
Laid it at His feet and stayed right there
All is well, she continued to believe
Even with the first report was received
It may have taken more time and more faith
But she soon came to see her son raised
So when we see those situations arise
We should look with faith and not our eyes
All is well, all is well; God is on the throne
Jesus is here and I am not alone
The substance hoped for, evidence unseen
Through Christ I can do all things
The power that made the land and sea
Is the same power living in me
Even when surrounded by the very gates of hell
My soul declares, all is well
