Poetic-Verses

'' What They Have Vowed ''

Female and male,
When placed together,
Be it calm or a gale,
It's inclement weather.

One's happy one's sad,
Very rarely the same,
Be they sane or mad,
It's all part of the game.

They fit like a glove,
When initially they meet,
The power of their love,
Gives off such a heat.

After a while,
They both calm down,
It becomes the style,
At each other they frown.

When they were paired,
Together they'd stay
Then the passion they shared,
Starts drifting away.

Then the battles ensue,
No need to fight,
You know within you,
That she's always right.

They become never ending,
The children look on,
The blows they keep fending,
They feel put upon.

Then comes divorce,
Though both driven insane,
You find a new course,
You are happy again.

Saying marriage is forever,
Should not be allowed,
One day most will sever,
