Duplicity

The duplicity of solitude,
- thinker and thought

The lies we tell ourselves,
  hoping never to get caught

In darkness, living behind walls
  that conceal

Our thoughts from our feelings,
-masquerading as real

(Villanova Pennsylvania: March, 2011)
