One Nine Seven Park Street Mall

I love the girl who controls of the lift

Left hand side of the entrance hall

Of the brand new shopping centre

One Nine Seven Park Street Mall.

I shiver with delight when she

Announces the floor

Then calmly announces

She's opening the door

Never a snag

Never a hitch

Just fast response when

You press the switch.

Some times i come

Specially up town

Just to travel

Up and down

Pressing floor buttons

In multiple choice

For the pleasure of hearing

That calm voice.

Her sister I think runs the right hand lift
Almost identical but not quite the same

 Lacks the authority when

She calls out the floor names.

Enclosed in her office

Atop of her lift

Putting heart and soul

Into every shift.

One day we'll meet

If fate decides

And then we'll share

Elevator rides.

From floor to floor

I'll hold her hand

As enrapt

We both stand.

For her love

I'll give my all

In the left hand lift of One

Nine Seven Park Street Mall.
