I know what it feels like, to be bitter and freezing cold
When you feel in your life, living and love, lost, lonely, dead and OLD
When hurt, despair, and lonliness, creep in
You feel cold, lost , and lonely, like a fish, with a broken fin
When a person, has no love known
They feel bitter cold and all alone
No one to speak with or even talk with on the phone
No one to call your own
I know what it feels like to be freezing and bitter cold
You feel numb and down right old
When you are out in the freezing sub-zero, cold the wind factor, as the heart factor, is always much severe and worse
For better days of warmth and love, for your life living and love, you hope to one day soon, find and traverse
When you feel cold, and bitter, freezing cold wind and heart ache
Its exhausting, and devastating, to endure and take
When you are out in the cold for years and years too long
You feel, like warmth and love with you will never happen and belong
But a person holds onto hope
A person does their best to cope
With hope and faith, that one day, the sunshine, they joyously will come to see
Making their HEART, so WARMED, LOVED, APPRECIATED, and RESPECTED, and YOUNG, and FREE
