Dawn

Along with golden rays of the sun
Descended the radiant angel at dawn
He spread the golden invigorating hue
On the lush green sprawl of the lawn
Receiving the booster dose of warmth
Leaped the golden eyed frolicsome fawn
A bird, snug in the night's comforting lap
Shirking laziness, at sunrise, it did yawn
Cherishing soaring golden amazing dreams
It heartily greeted the angelic golden dawn
