I must brag although not good, About visions of the Lord; Because I do as I should, By staying in one accord. As a follower of Christ, Who was snatched up away; Committed and sacrificed, Proceed to trust and obey. This not only had happened, As far as spiritually; God only knows how enlightened, As I am physically. I know I am a person, Snatched away to paradise; Hearing from the Holy One, The one that had paid the price. It cannot be stressed in words, For humans to understand; But spoken in the standards, That God has made His demand. But I will not brag about me, Unless it is on weakness; Showing the human you see, That has been filled with meekness. I would never be a fool, By not telling you the truth; And knowing the golden rule, Of never being uncouth. I am going to spare you, That no one could ever think; Anything that is not true, That I would try to hoodwink. What you see or hear of me, Because of revelation; Remember Christ sets you free, By giving you salvation. His kindness is all you need, Power for when you are weak; Enable you to succeed, No matter what you may seek. Copyright © 2016 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
