'' There Is No Going Back ''
We live in a world,
Where everyone's judged,
While insults are hurled,
The facts are then smudged.
Where truth is rare,
It's much easier to lie,
We no longer care,
That the weak we deny.
We steal from each other,
To this we are blind,
The facts we then smother,
By pretending we're kind.
Our beloved politicians,
Those laws they make,
It's within their traditions,
Their rules they'll break.
Those bankers we trusted,
They all took a dash.
Leaving us disgusted,
When they stole all our cash.
We eye with suspicion,
Our family and friends,
We show no contrition,
Why make amends.
Some have the will,
To obey and destroy,
Whatever they kill,
Doesn't seem to annoy.
Armageddon draws near,
This fact we disguise,
We will all disappear,
Open your eyes.
We have crossed that line,
Now under attack,
It's been a rapid decline,
' There Is No Going Back '
