When the thunder
Reaches the the sky
And the lightening
Rushes with light in the eastern sky
All I see is life passing away
But life could be good if you would just stay
When the thunder
Reaches my ears and you cuddle so close
And the lightening
Rushes with light so I can see the silhouette
Of your boundless beauty
And life will be real good when you decide
Not another in this world or eternity
Can hold my heart
Not another in my life could teach me more
And save my life though its a struggle
Jesus lifted us up and made us free
To love each other for eternity
