A loner is out to get, What he does desire; Sound reasoning has yet, Something to acquire. A fool does not find joy, In the understanding; Expressing to employ, Other views expanding. When wickedness has come, Insult will come along; Disgrace to feel like scum, When in contempt is wrong. Words that come from the tongue, Are like the deep water; That overflows when flung, Of thoughts from your daughter. It is bad to be fond, Of a wicked person; You are easily conned, For the wrong that was done. A fool loves to argue, Lips ready for battle; Prepared to ruin you, Like slaughtering cattle. The words of gossip, Are like swallowing greed; For rumors from the lip, Destroys the inner seed. Those lazy in their work, Relate to a vandal; Acting just like a jerk, Drag you in a scandal. God is a strong tower, Safe to run into it; Any day and hour, Aided by His Spirit. Wealth is a strong city, Thoughts of like a high wall; But no one takes pity, If it would take a fall.
