What the Bible Has to Say
Should we treat our brother with contempt
Then from him turn away
Even if we know the Bible well
And what It has to say?
For Scripture makes it very plain
How others we must esteem
And never let a chance go by
Though awkward that may seem.
After all, we are God's children
Through faith in Him above
Therefore, we have a duty
To replace dispassion with love.
And that should be quite easy
When we lay vain glory aside
And put to rest our snobbery
That can't be justified.
Then show our brother due respect
And send him on his way
For in doing so, we will affirm
What the Bible has to say.
