I consider that suffering, Is insignificantly compared; To the glory of buffering, Will soon to be revealed and shared. All creation eagerly waits, For God say who His children are; When we are walking through the gates, Each of us holding a bright star. Creation has been subjected, To confusion and frustration; Not by choice being neglected, Rather did so within the hope. So it would be also set free, From slavery that would decay; If we follow in His decree, While we honor and obey. We can share glorious freedom, That the children of God possess; Through the Lord and His wisdom, Giving confidence He will bless. All creation has groaned with pain, Of childbirth through present time; We keep going through stress and strain, Before starting to make the climb. We have the Spirit as the first, Gift from God through the adoption; Freeing us from the lustful thirst, That causes rot and corruption. We are saved with having this hope, In our minds for what we see; What we do not see we must cope, Until the day we are set free. The Spirit helps our weakness, Since we do not know how to pray; But will be able to bless, When our pleas can never stray. The one who searches in your heart, Knows what the Spirit has in mind; For giving you a brand new start, While being humble and kind. Copyright © 2016 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
