They banned the color green
How could you be so mean
No color green displayed
An order, that's what they said
Disobey the foreign land and die
Wear green and say goodbye
Kill irish culture, put us down
Steal our land by a foreign crown
Slaves taken both white and black
Wear green and never come back
They came with power
No option, just the final hour
The gap of danger
They stole my country
They killed my people
Grave yards don't tell lies
One day our heroes will rise
They banned the color green
How could you be so mean
