Put to death your worldly sin, Perversion passion and greed; To stop corruption within, For God supplies what you need. Because they do anger God, They cause you to disobey; Making you to become flawed, Whenever you go astray. You have lived that kind of life, When anger and tempers flare; Sinful cursing would cause strife, At times causing you despair. Be honest and do not lie, The life that you used to live; If the truth hurts, go and cry, As to easily forgive. So become a new person, Having the right attitude; Using a godly passion, The right frame of mind and mood. As holy people chose by God, You must be humble and kind; Always give honor and laud, Being patient, peace of mind. Tolerate one another, With willingness to forgive; Showing love to each other, Harmonious ways to live. Above all things put on love, Which is bonded perfectness; It is flowing from above, As a form of blessedness. Let the peace of Christ control, As you go about each day; Let His Spirit in your soul, While you trust and obey.
