GOING TO TOWN

Sit here for days at times
Then lack of COKE-A-COLA
And CAMEL LIGHTS
Over take me
Have to go town
Or Athena
At least
By 7PM
Or something
Out of luck
It doesn't bother me to be stuck
In this house for days and days
Glad to have the peaceful ways
Of doing nothing
Or doing a little
No longer so fit as a fiddle
As I use to be
Going to town
Or going nicotine crazy
Learned
Buy tobacco
These tube things
Get out the machine
Dolly gave me
Make my own
Now,
If I could learn how to make
COKE-A-COLA
O-LA
What a great day that would be
Then going to town
Would be less and less for me.
