Stronger Together

Stronger Together
You made it through the storm, you danced in the rain
Although weary and worn you praised through the pain
Your strength gave strength to the city around
Now we're are stronger together to stand our ground
The enemy did strike with a mighty blow
But what he didn't predict and what he didn't know
Was the wound he worked so hard to inflict
Would not bleed out because the Blood is too thick
Every cell in the Body cried out in prayer
And the power of the Healer met us there
With the pain still present, the scars still in view
We gather at the alter to celebrate you
Not as a captive to victim mentality
But heirs together in Christ victory
The blood of the Lamb and word of your testimony
Binds us in a way that leaves no one lonely
Like Nehemiah 4, while rebuilding the wall
Your new family stands guard awaiting your call
As we strengthen our hands for the work yet to be done
We are stronger together when we work as one
The very God of peace sanctifies us
By the power of His word in which we trust
May grace and mercy, peace and love
Bind us always together in our Father above

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14: 27
