Those trying to change,
That which is yours,
Don't let them rearrange,
Self-opinion re-assures.
Some will interfere,
But you must remain wise,
To yourself be sincere,
Don't wear their disguise.
You are truly bespoke,
One of a kind,
Let no-one provoke,
Your delicate mind.
You are who you are,
By acknowledging that fact,
You will travel far,
let nobody detract.
Change can be good,
But do what you want,
It's for you to be shrewd,
Bad decisions will haunt.
The lesson to learn,
Is you're in control,
Your inner discern,
Rules your heart and soul.
Which route you travel,
Is for you to choose,
Your life will unravel,
Let it enthuse.
Interference though rife,
Can be denied,
Taking charge of your life,
Keeps you healthy inside.
Stay strong not weak,
Listen to your heart,
We all need a tweak,
To make that new start.
One day you'll look back,
At the memories that shine,
The fact you're on track,
