Bright and Beautiful

This poem is greatly inspired by Natasha Bedingfield's Song, Wild Horses

Wide opened space

I sweetly embrace

The golden sunlight

That paints the wind

I am so fond of,

Rush headlong like

Wild horses,

Amidst the lushful greens

Beneath the great sky

While the  fresh-scented earth

Keeps me home

Listening to sad songs,

Fearlessly, deep inside

Clinging to what is bright

And beautiful.
