I want you to know,
What happened to me;
That we need to show,
So others can see.
So nothing matters,
Except about Christ;
The Gospel scatters,
So more are enticed.
It has become clear,
That soldiers defend;
So then we must fear,
What the foes intend.
So we must protect,
The king at all cost;
Then we must reflect,
On what Jesus lost.
So I just bewail,
As I sit and wait;
It feels like a jail,
Please open the gate.
The Lord has given,
So much confidence;
To speak on Heaven,
In fearless defense.
His Word must be told,
More now than ever;
Confidently bold,
As to not sever.
The people will tell,
The message of Christ;
But envy will dwell,
Most are not enticed.
Tell it in good will,
Of Christ out of love;
To preach to instill,
Blessings from above.
Nothing else matters,
Except about Christ;
No other chatters,
Why He sacrificed.
