On a Glasgow street where people meet
Green and white from head to feet
troubled past without defeat
We've landed with no retreat
Glasgow town was the place to go
Our team was irish, watch the show
No Irish need apply, we had our poor
Discrimination, no job for sure
Patrick was a no job name
Kathleen, Maraide,they're all the same
We came we struggled together
We faced rain and stormy weather
The children of our country stand proud
Irish names in Glasgow makes you feel so proud
